Dr. Angela Ro

Dr. Angela Ro received her medical degree from New York Medical College. She completed Internal Medicine residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Cardiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center.

Post training, she worked as a non-invasive cardiologist in private practice in Bronx, NY. She witnessed firsthand the impact of obesity on cardiovascular health, particularly in lower socioeconomic demographics. This exposure fueled her growing interest in cardiometabolic health.

In 2021, Dr. Ro joined Calibrate, a telehealth company focused on metabolic health utilizing GLP-1 medications. She served as Senior Director, Medical Group and gained insights into the significant impact of GLP-1 medications in preventing and treating cardiovascular disease.

In 2023, Dr. Ro transitioned to Heartbeat Health, bringing her expertise and passion for cardiometabolic health to the organization’s innovative approach to cardiovascular care. Dr. Ro is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular DIsease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, and holds RPVI in Vascular Medicine.
